Working principally with natural light in his large Victorian home in South London, Barry Wetherilt aims to capture in his photographs an essence of the natural sensuality and beauty of the young, often inexperienced, models he works with. That includes her imperfections, her smile, her look, her body, its curves and angles, the texture, the light on her hair, on her skin and her interaction with her surroundings. His work is definitely not intended to be ‘glamour style’ photography.
  

He works solely in digital media and does little retouching or image manipulation preferring the natural end result in keeping with his overall aims.
