Honey Potter was born Honora di Santo, in New York, April 1957. Honora was considered by all who encountered her an exceptionally sweet child and came to be called Honey from when she was very young. Her parents were passionate art collectors, and after they married they met Anthony Christian and commissioned a series of paintings from him; these paintings were known as LillyEggs.

She grew up surrounded by Fine Art and, of course, the LillyEgg Collection. So touched was she by the Lillyeggs that as she grew up it became her ambition to study with Christian at his Bali Studio; an ambition fulfilled in 1975 when she moved to Bali, where she still lives.
