Recent winner of the Erotic Signature international sculpture prize, Jamie is a rising star in the erotic art world. The Spice of Life featuring 84 genital and breast casts, is on permanent display at Amora, London’s new erotic visitor attraction. Lifecasting forms the basis for many of his erotic works. In the right hands this process, which involves taking a mould directly from the body to produce a kind of 3D photographic sculpture, is a very erotic medium.
Jamie trained at art school and honed his skills in the film industry, making sophisticated props and lifecasts of film stars. Fusing these disciplines has lead to his unique style and his break from lifecasting’s pedestrian traditions. He makes unique personal portraits for his private clients, working in any material from plaster to aluminium and even animal hide. Jamie also sells through several London galleries. His new Contemporary Surrealist series Sexidermy™ and Objets d’aft™ are causing quite a stir in artistic circles.
