Darren is an established illustrator who has been working internationally across the fields of book publishing, editorial and advertising for the last 11 years, He is represented by Debut Art. The 'Erotic Study' series combines his love of painting with his photography to create images that play with a juxtaposition of flat paint and photographic detail to produce graphic representations of his models. He injects an off kilter sense of narrative with symbols and body language but likes to create enough ambiguity for the viewer to create their own story.
